Zion Lutheran School is a private Christian school serving Everett, Snohomish, Lake Stevens, Marysville, and Monroe. We are located in the heart of Snohomish County, 40 minutes north of Seattle. We are supported by an Association of five Lutheran LCMS Churches. We offer Bible-based, Christ-centered education, small class sizes, dedicated teachers, and an emphasis on Law and Gospel.
We are accredited by the National Lutheran School Association (NLSA), and the Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC). Our teachers are certified through Washington State and Zion is a Washington State Approved School.
We are one of the private schools in the Tri-County (Skagit, Island, and Snohomish) sports league, and also compete in the Puget Sound Lutheran Schools League (Snohomish, Kitsap, King, and Pierce counties).
Zion is known for its excellent education, low student-teacher ratios, and outstanding preparation for high school. Our students emerge from Zion well-rounded, well-educated, and well-adjusted. Our teachers are committed to solidifying our students’ Christian base which will serve them well as they navigate through life.
Zion has programs for Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and Grades 1-8. Zion also offers childcare in the form of before and after school care programs.
Zion Lutheran School is situated on 20 rural, natural acres east of Everett and north of Snohomish. Since its founding in 1901, the mission of Zion Lutheran School has been to build solid foundations and transform lives in Christ. We offer a strong academic curriculum for children in preschool through eighth grade. Outdoor education, piano lessons, band, academic fairs, and confirmation classes complement standard programs. Our facilities include a well-stocked library, a computer lab, a gym/auditorium/cafeteria, spacious playgrounds, a ball field, and a covered play area. Zion competes in soccer, volleyball, track and basketball with private schools in Snohomish, King, and Pierce Counties.
