Bible Verse of the Week

For the week of May 13th through 19th, 2013:

"I will restore the fortunes of my people Israel, and they shall rebuild the ruined cities and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and drink their wine, and they shall make gardens and eat their fruit."

Amos 9:14

Here, Amos reminds us that despite our constant sin, we will one day be united with God in heaven.  We have access to heaven through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  We await the day of restoration to God in heaven.
